"Dropped my insurance without notifying me wasn’t even late on payment it’s because they didn’t know how my step dad who was on insurance was related to me. When they called me to ask they asked hello is this (step dads name) I said no and they hung up. When I tried to reconnect they want to change me more for loss of coverage when I was never told they dropped me in first place. I contacted them at 230 today and sent me a message back at 5pm the second they close. On a Friday. Good luck getting answers if they decide to drop your insurance too without notifying you."
"Thank you for reaching out to us. We take all customer concerns very seriously. We can see that you had several messages between a team member in this office throughout the afternoon on Friday. We are unclear why you indicate that no response was given to you until 5:00PM. During those conversations, we advised you that our office reached out to you on several occasions between April and June of this year. Notices had also been mailed out to you from our corporate office. Our office did not terminate your coverage. Unfortunately, we never received a response back regarding the underwriting inquiry, and never received a response back for the non-pay notice we contacted you for as well. With a lapse in coverage and no evidence of insurance in place for a period of time, the quotes we have available to you are reflecting a gap in coverage. Our team worked several options out for you on Friday afternoon to try and give you the best possible coverages at a rate as close to what you were previously paying. We do not make or create the insurance rates for State Farm. We input the information we are provided, and our system generates a quoted premium based on that information. During our office hours on Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, we respond as quickly as possible to all customer communications. None of the additional messages you sent to us after 5:00PM on Friday, nor this Google review, were accessible until the office was open today. As we mentioned to you on Friday, we are still more than happy to look through options with you. "

"Started off really nice, then found out we were getting charged twice from two different places. they were SUPER unhelpful and just kept insisting it was the other locations fault. Also when we had to use state farm the service was terrible, the roadside service was so slow it was pointless and it took a month for them to get our car fixed and we had to keep bugging state farm for answers to why things weren't moving. Switched back to USAA, Wayyyy better!"

"We went to this office when we were shopping for new insurance. They were initially very helpful and were able to give us a quote for homeowners, 2 vehicles, and a travel trailer. It seemed to be one of the better quotes we received. We accepted the quote and wrote a check for the first months premium, and that is when problems started. We received the necessary forms showing proof of insurance for the house and vehicles, but not for the trailer. For the next 3 months the payments were withdrawn for all the premiums, except the trailer. Multiple times, we contacted the office concerning the trailer and were given various and changing explanations on why they could not give us any proof of insurance on the trailer, but we were always told it was insured. Our initial trailer quote turned out to be for a 2020 trailer. We informed them of it being a 2021. We then received a quote for a 2022 trailer and had to once again tell them it was a 2021. When we finally received a quote for the correct year, it was nearly $700 higher than the original quote, and the 2021 quote was higher than what we received for it when they were calling it a 2022. We chose not to take the trailer out of storage for 3 months because with insurance, if you don't have it in writing, it doesn't exist, and we did not want to risk dealing with State Farm if something did happen to the trailer. It got worse. We decided that working with this agent was an incredibly frustrating experience and cancelled all the policies, effective the next month. What this office then did was cancel the vehicle policies at midnight on the last day of the month, but chose to cancel the homeowners policy the following month. This despite the fact that they received, and acknowledged they received all the cancelations at the same time, 3 weeks before the cancelation date. They then billed us for just the home owners policy which was already cancelled. After an hour call with the corporate customer service rep at State Farm, we were told that since Bergmeister refused to acknowledge their attempt to bill us for a cancelled policy, our only solution was to pay the bill. We were hesitant to go ahead and pay it, but eventually did. State Farm then refunded our payment several days later. This resolved my problem with State Farm and I would consider using them in the future. I would just use a different agent to deal with."

"I'll give them 2, because the staff has always been friendly and tried to help. For State Farm as a whole, I would currently give them 1 star. As a 32 year State Farm customer, I am shocked at how bad State Farm has become with responding to claims and communicating. 10 days after a claim, I have begged State Farm repeatedly for communication, and received nothing useful. This is the worst experience I have ever had with State Farm in my 32 years with them. I'm not sure what is going on with the company, but it seems to have totally lost any customer focus that it had."

"Watch your policy, they won't. Know their insurance, they won't tell you unless you make them. Requested to review my policy, they said they would follow up with me and request was ignored. 7 months later I incurred damage that would have been covered had they reached out to me. $64/yr sump pump and sewer backup clause/policy that I was never told about, that they usually offer to new home policies is what they told me. I transferred to there agency because my last agent made mistakes but they ignored me after getting my policy. When asking about it, they didn't find anything wrong that they did, even though I have the email where they clearly ignored me. Now they don't respond to my emails, want anything done go there or better yet go to another insurance agency."
